MCM IIC Holds Talk on Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Chandigarh Nov. 30, 2021:- The Institution Innovation Council (IIC) of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Chandigarh organised an online motivational talk titled 'Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship'. Shivanshi Vashist, Managing Director, MicroRadical 360-degree Pvt. Ltd was the resource person for this talk that was attended by a total of 108 students and faculty members. The session was an endeavour to acquaint the participants with the efforts undertaken by an entrepreneur to start a successful venture.

Shivanshi emphasised upon thinking out of the box to inculcate ingenuity as well as risk taking ability. She emphasised that hard work, skill, creativity, ideation, connectivity and execution-oriented planning are essential attributes for an entrepreneur to grow a successful start-up. Overall, the session was quite interesting and inspiring.

Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava lauded the consistent efforts of MCM IIC aimed at systematically promoting and inculcating a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among the students. She added that these efforts are imperative for realising the dream of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
