Chandigarh July 31, 2021:-श्री गुरु हरकृष्ण साहिब जी के आज प्रकाश दिवस के मौके पर चंडीगढ़ में नगर कीर्तन सजाया गया। यहां सेक्टर 46 स्थित गुरुद्वारा सिंह सभा की ओर से सजाया गया नगर कीर्तन साथ लगते विभिन सेक्टरों से होते हुए सेक्टर 34 स्थित गुरुद्वारा साहिब में संपन हुआ। गुरु के पांच प्यारों की अगुवाई में सजाये गए नगर कीर्तन का रस्ते में पड़ने वाले विभिन सेक्टरों में श्रद्धालुओं की ओर से बड़ी ही श्रद्धाभाव से स्वागत किया गया। दुपहर तीन बजे नगर कीर्तन के सेक्टर 46 की मार्कीट में पहुंचने पर श्री सनातन धर्म मंदिर कमेटी 

और सेक्टर 46 की मार्केट वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन की ओर से  नगर कीर्तन का स्वागत किया गया। मंदिर कमेटी में मेंबरों सहित मार्कीट के दुकानदारों की ओर से सेक्टर 46 की मार्किट में नगर कीर्तन का बड़ी श्रद्धाभाव से स्वागत किया गया और वाहेगुरु से आशीर्वाद प्राप्त किया। इस मौके पर मंदिर कमेटी के अध्यक्ष जतिंदर भाटिया और अन्य सदस्यों ने कोरोना महामारी को लेकर संसार में आए संकट को शीध्र दूर करने और कोरोना के कारण जान गवाने वाले लोगों की आत्मा की शांति तथा उनके पीड़ित परिवारों को सुख समृद्धि  देने के लिए अरदास की। नगर कीर्तन के स्वागत के समय नगर कीर्तन में शामिल संगत और वहां उपशित श्रद्धालुओं को खीर और फल का प्रसाद बांटा गया और जल सेवा भी की गई। इस मौके पर  मंदिर कमेटी के अन्य सदस्य शुशील सोवत, धर्मपाल गुप्ता, डीडी शर्मा, वीके विज, कृष्ण मुसाफिर, राकेश सेठी, एसपी बगई, मार्कीट वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन सेक्टर 46 के अध्यक्ष बलविंदर सिंह उत्तम, सत्यवान कुंडू, संजीव कालड़ा, रेजिडेंट्स वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन सेक्टर 46 के अध्यक्ष  नरेंद्र भाटिया , महासचिव कुलदीप सिंह सुपर मार्कीट से मोहन लाल, बिट्टू और अशोक कुमार सहित इलाके की अन्य संगत ने भी नगरकीर्तन में मत्था टेक वाहेगुरु के आगे अपनी हाज़री लगा कर आशीर्वाद लिया।

वेंडर्स की फीस माफ न किए जाने पर संघर्ष कमेटी ने मेयर का पुतला फूंक जताया रोष

Chandigarh July 31, 2021:- बीते दिन चंडीगढ़ नगर निगम मेयर द्वारा वेंडर लाइसेंस धारकों को बकाया फीस जमा न करने पर आगामी टाउन वेंडिंग कमेटी के चुनावों में मतदान का अधिकार छीन लेने की बात पर रेहड़ी फड़ी संघर्ष कमेटी ने शनिवार को सेक्टर 45 में नगर निगम मेयर रविकांत शर्मा का पुतला जलाकर अपना रोष प्रदर्शन किया।

रेहड़ी फड़ी संघर्ष कमेटी के संस्थापक मनोज कुमार शुक्ला का कहना है कि कोरोना महामारी में रेहड़ी फड़ी वालों का कामकाज पूरी तरह से ठप पड़ गया था। उनकी आर्थिक स्थिति ठीक नहीं है। ऐसे में निगम को वेंडर लाइसेंस फीस माफ कर उन्हें राहत देना चाहिए था लेकिन निगम सब कुछ जानते हुए भी इन गरीब रेहड़ी फड़ी वालों पर जुल्म करने से बाज नहीं आ रहें। बार-बार निगम उन् हें फीस जमा करवाने का दबाव बना रही है जो मानवता को शर्मसार करने वाली है।
शुक्ला ने कहा कि रेहड़ी फड़ी वेंडर्स को जीवन यापन कोरोना महामारी के कारण दो जून की रोटी कमाने में असमर्थ है तो ऐसे वक्त में यह फीसें कहां से अदा करेंगे। उन्होंने कहा सभी वेंडर्स को भी टाउन वेंडिंग कमेटी के चुनावों में हिस्सा लेने के साथ-साथ चुनावों में उतरने का अधिकार होना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि 60/40 की रेशों के हिसाब से टाउन वेंडिंग कमेटी का गठन होना चाहिये।
उन्होंने कहा कि वेंडर्स के मामले में अगर सत्ताधारी पार्टी भाजपा गरीब एवं मजबूर रेहड़ी फड़ी वालों को न्याय दिलाने में सफल नहीं हो पाती तो पार्टी के नेताओं एवं पदाधिकारियों का घेराव किया जायेगा अथवा उनके विरुद्ध प्रदर्शन किये जायेंगे। शुक्ला ने कहा कि अगर जरूरत पड़ी तो रेहड़ी फड़ी संघर्ष कमेटी भाजपा कार्यालय कमलम का भी घेराव करने से पीछे नहीं हटेगी व कमिश्नर केके यादव का भी घेराव किया जायेगा।
उन्होंने पिछली चयनित टाउन वेंडिंग कमेटी को फर्जी बताते हुए उसकी कड़े शब्दों में निंदा की और कहा कि गरीब रेहड़ी फड़ी वालों एवं वेंडर्स के साथ सरासर धोखा था। शुक्ला ने आरोप लगाते हुए बताया कि 2016 का वेंडर्स का सर्वे में भी पारदर्शिता नहीं थी। उन वैंडर्स का सर्वे भी दोबारा कराने का मुद्दा उठाते हुए कहा कि इस सर्वे में असली वेंडर्स तो छूट ही गये थे एवं दुकानदारों ने मिलीभगत से अपने यहां काम करने वाले या अपने चहेतों का ही सर्वे करवा दिया था।
अंत में शुक्ला ने ज़ोर देकर निगम प्रशासन को कहा कि वेंडर्स की फीस तुरंत प्रभाव से माफ की जायें जब तक कि उनका काम ठीक ढंग से नहीं चलता और टाउन वेंडिंग कमेटी के चुनावों में रेहड़ी फड़ी वाले वेंडर्स की भागीदारी को सुनिश्चित बनाया जाये।

यह प्रदर्शन रेहड़ी फड़ी संघर्ष कमेटी के संस्थापक मनोज कुमार शुक्ला के नेतृत्व में किया गया था। इस दौरान शिव सेना, चंडीगढ़ के कार्यकर्ता भी मौजूद रहें।

Ambulance Donated to New Lifeline Hospital, Zirakpur under CSR Program

Chandigarh July 31, 2021:- Jankidevi Bajaj Gram Vikas Sanstha has donated an ambulance to New Lifeline Hospital, Zirakpur on Saturday. The ambulance was handed over to hospital's MD Praveer Goel by Sandeep Kumar Panigrahi, zonal manager of Punjab National Bank.

Speaking during the occasion, Praveer Goel said that in  past  few  months,  the  lack  of medical facilities ,  including access to the existing facilities in timely manner, has come out  as  one of the major concerns in the public healthcare system in the country. As a bit it can do to alleviate this situation, 16 ambulances have been procured by Jankidevi Bajaj Gram Vikas Sanstha which are being donated to hospitals in the region including one which was donated to New Lifeline Hospital, Zirakpur today.

Meanwhile New Lifeline Hospital, Zirakpur is known to provide excellent super speciality care in the field of Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Ortho Surgery and Critical ICU Care.

The ambulances which are given under Bajaj Allianz General Insurance CSR program are equipped with necessary advanced life support equipment.

Meeting the Chief Minister for the second time this month, state president NSUI Akshay Sharma also took Chief Minister's blessings for the launch of statewide 'NSUI Youth Mission 2022' from Patiala next week. Akshay had met the Chief Minister on July 19 earlier this month to apprise him about the NSUI Mission 2022. 

"We will be launching the pan-Punjab campaign from Patiala next week to attract youngsters towards the party ideology and by popularising our government's flagship programmes and achievemnts amongst them for Akshay said after his meeting with the Chief Minister. 

Expressing confidence for a win in upcoming assembly elections, the young leader from Amritsar said that under the leadership of Captain Amarinder Singh Ji, Congress party would secure yet another victory by decimating all opposition in 2022.

Chandigarh's Varun Rana Becomes First Indian To Judge 'World Salsa Summit'

Chandigarh, July 30, 2021:-Thirty nine-year-old, Varun DS Rana, a Dance sport & Salsa trainer from tricity who has been promoting Dance sport and has also judged the National DanceSport Championship since 2019, has made Chandigarh and the country proud. He has become the first Indian salsa expert to judge the prestigious International Dance Style World Championship 'World Salsa Summit', in Miami (USA). What's more Varun has also become the first Indian to judge a world dance championship in an International Style & that too outside India. Indian dance experts have only judged styles like bhangra, classical, folk dance etc.

 

The week-long dance championship 'World Salsa Summit' which showcased Salsa & Bachata forms, was recently held in Miami. The 'World Salsa Summit' is one of the biggest competitive salsa events of the world, & participants from across the globe took part in the championship this year too.  

Varun who is not only the first Indian but also the only Asian to get an opportunity to judge the summit in the 'Official Panel' of 'World Salsa Summit' said that he is fortunate that he got this wonderful opportunity to judge the 'World Salsa Dance Championship', which is in a  way is the Mecca of 'Salsa'. Representing your country in an international arena always gives you a proud feeling.

Varun Rana, who started his dance journey in 2000 from Chandigarh, shot to fame from the dance reality show 'Dance Dance' in 2005 on Sony Entertainment Television. Since then he has been representing the tricity & India at various National & International platforms respectively. As an instructor, Varun has taught Dance sport & Salsa at workshops held across many countries such as Dubai, Singapore, Thailand, Nepal, Hong Kong.

Notably, Rana, who is the National Coach (Salsa), All India Dance Sport Federation & has also founded Club Salsa International has produced a lot of young talent.  Among his trainees is the youngest Indian 'World Salsa Championship' winner, Aashna Bagri, who won the title while participating in the Pro Am (14-17) year's age category in 2020.

 

Varun DS Rana further said that India has a lot of talent, what we need to do is create more platforms so that youngsters can showcase their skill in front of the whole world. To create such opportunities, he is planning to unveil my own dance show which will promote  upcoming talent for International dance championships.

It is pertinent to state that Varun who was appointed official coach for Team India for Asian Indoor Games in 2017, did his certification for judging under Billy Fajardo (USA). Varun Rana through his accomplishment of becoming the first Indian and Asian to be inducted as first official Indian judge in the judges lineup at 'World Salsa Summit' has brought India and of course Chandigarh on the 'global competitive Salsa & Bachata' map.

शक्ति देवशाली के नेतृत्व में सेक्टर 29 सी में पौधरोपण कार्यक्रम आयोजित

Chandigarh July 30, 2021:- चंडीगढ़ की समाजसेवी संस्थाओं द लास्ट बेंचर और ओंकार चैरिटेबल फाउंडेशन ने आपसी सहयोग से शहर में टीकाकरण शिविर अभियान चलाया है। सेक्टर 21 की मार्किट में प्रिंस भडूला की मदद से मोबाइल वैन के माध्यम से लगाया गया यह टीकाकरण शिविर अभियान चंडीगढ़ की पूर्व मेयर और पार्षद आशा जसवाल के मार्गदर्शन में लगाया गया था। इस शिविर की विशेषता यह रही कि संस्थाओं की तरफ से टीकाकरण करवाने वाले उन सभी लोगों को टीका लगवाने के मैसेज दिखाने पर विभिन्न प्रकार के गिफ्ट्स से सम्मानित किया गया, जिन्होंने आज टीकाकरण करवाया था। 

  पूर्व मेयर और पार्षद आशा जसवाल ने लोगों को टीकाकरण के प्रति जागरूक और प्रोत्साहित किए जाने वाले प्रयास करने के लिए द लास्ट बेंचर और ओंकार चैरिटेबल फाउंडेशन के प्रेसिडेंट रविन्द्र सिंह बिल्ला और सुमिता कोहली व उनकी टीम के सदस्यो शशि बाला, रैना, निशा राणा इत्यादि की सराहना की। आशा जसवाल ने कहा कि भाजपानीत केंद्र सरकार ने तो देश  भर में स्वास्थ्यअधिकारी नियुक्त किये है और उन्हे प्रशिक्षित भी किया है। ताकि लोगों को तीसरी लहर सै बचाया सके। केवल टीकाकरण ही कोरोना से बचाब है। इसलिए लोगों से प्रार्थना है कि वो बढ़चढ़ कर टीकाकरण के लिए सबको प्रेरित करें।उन्होंने कहा कि उन्होंने भी दिल्ली जा कर एक दिन परिषण लिया है।

इस अवसर पर रविन्द्र सिंह बिल्ला ने कहा कि कोरोना संकटकाल का दौर अभी पूरी तरह से टला नही है। तीसरी लहर के आने की भी सम्भावना जताई जा रही है।  केंद्र सरकार ने भी देश की जनता के बेहतर और सकुशल स्वास्थ्य की कामना के लिए देशभर में फ्री टीकाकरण अभियान चला रखा है। लोगों को भी सरकार के दिशा निर्देशों की पालना करते हुए टीकाकरण लाजिमी करवाना चाहिए।

वहीं द लास्ट बेंचर की प्रेसिडेंट सुमिता कोहली ने कहा कि शहर में अभी भी काफी लोगों ने डर या वहम की वजह से टीका नही  लगवाया है।उनके मन से यही वहम और डर को दूर कर उन्हें टीकाकरण के प्रति प्रोत्साहित किया जा रहा है।उन्होंने लोगों से अपील की कि वो अपने स्वास्थ्य की बेहतरी के लिए टीका अवश्य लगवायें।
