Chandigarh 01st April:- Veteran actress Anjali Mukhi, best remembered for her role as Saroj Singh in 'Doli Armaanon Ki', has stepped into the role of Anita Luthra earlier played by the renowned Eva Grover in Zee TV's immensely popular primetime drama Tashn-e-Ishq. Eva Grover who, won millions of hearts with her marvellous performance and strong persona as Anita Luthra, has had to quit the show on health grounds. The show, which continues to entertain viewers with interesting twists and turns, is about to see more excitement in the coming weeks.
Anjali Mukhi who has been roped in to play Anita in Tashn-e-Ishq, said that she is excited to play the character of Anita Luthra who is a strong, independent Punjabi woman and doesn't mind playing dirty games to ensure things go her way. The character is very different from all her past roles and something that she hadn't explored earlier. As an actor, she love playing roles that are as diverse as possible and when she got an opportunity to play such a pivotal role, she had no option but to say yes. To make her look as graceful as Eva, they've given her an elaborate makeover. She said that she is working really hard to get the body language, the demeanor and tone right. Eva has certainly made a mark and won appreciation for the role and she will try her best to slip into her shoes seamlessly and play the character convincingly. It's a challenging role and she is certain that fans will love her new avatar.
