Chandigarh 13th November:-The Department of Cultural Affairs, Chandigarh Administration to augment the classical music, and providing a Cultural soul to city beautiful activities like - "Naad Vatika" Culture in the Parks shows had been initiated,.
In the chain of the same Classical vocal singer Shraddha Muralidharan from Chandigarh will perform on 14.11.2015 at Rose Garden, sector 16 Chandigarh at 5:00 PM. She has performed in several musical fora of repute, notable among them being "7th Brahaspati Sangeet Samaroh" Chandigarh in October 2011, 183rd monthly Baithak Programme of Pracheen Kala Kendra Chandigarh in January 2013, 14th Pt. Lalmani Misra memorial Sangeet Samaroh in Kanpur on 11th Aug 2014 and recently in the "9th Brahaspati Sangeet Samaroh" Chandigarh 0n 26th Sep 2014, in which she was honoured with the "Sangeet Medhavi Samman" by the Brahaspati Kala Kendra, Chandigarh. She is a recipient of the prestigious Cultural Talent Search Scholarship since 2012 under the Scheme of Centre for Cultural Resources and training (under the aegis of Ministry of Culture, Government of India) for training in the field of Hindustani Classical Music (vocal). She was also awarded the National Child Award for exceptional achievement for the year 2013 in recognition of her accomplishments in Hindustani Classical Music. She was one of the 23 children (one each from each state/UT), conferred the honor in New Delhi on 14th Nov 2013 on the occasion of Children's Day by the Union Minister of State for Women and Child Development..
