MCM College organizes Interactive Session on ‘Cyber Crime Investigation’

Chandigarh 18th November:- The Department of Computer Science and Applications, MCM DAV College for Women, Chandigarh in collaboration with the U.T. Police organized an interactive session on 'Cyber Crime Investigation'. The session aimed at imparting first hand information to students on cyber crimes and their investigation in the wake of rising incidence of such occurrences.

A team of professionals consisting of DSP Rashmi Yadav, Cyber Crime Investigation Cell; Gurcharan Singh, Chief Faculty Member, Cyber Crime Central Detective Training School (CDTS), Sector 36, Chandigarh; Dr. Manreet Singh, Legal Advisor, Cyber Frauds, ICICI Bank along with Inspector Reema Yadav and Inspector Harinder Sekhon interacted with the students and educated them about the ways and techniques to prevent and combat cyber crime. The students enthusiastically participated in the interaction. The guests were all praises for their zeal.

Dr. Nisha Bhargava, Principal of MCM applauded the endeavour and said that such diligent endeavour create awareness and minimize the incidence of crime.
