Chandigarh 26th News:- As part of the 6th Police week celebration, India Reserve Battalion, Sarangpur has invited the school children to visit the campus and know about the way of life of a Jawan. As part of this, 303 school children along with their teachers visited the campus on 26th November; these children were from Govt. Model High School, Dhannas, Govt. Model Senior Secondary School, Sarangpur and Govt. Senior Secondary School, Khuda Lahora. These children were shown around the campus. They were also given a presentation about the functioning of Chandigarh Police in general and IRB in particular. These children were also served lunch consisting of puri, chole and desi ghee halwa. Amarjeet Singh Cheema, Deputy Inspector General of Police, U.T., Chandigarh and Ram Niwas Meena, Commandant-IRB interacted with the children and answered the queries raised by the inquisitive children. Ms. Anjitha Chepyala, DSP-IRB, Insp. Charanjit Singh, IRB, Sub Inspector Achhar Chand Sharma, Lines Officer-IRB and other personnel were present.
