Chandigarh 23rd May:- The foundation stone laying ceremony of Media and Friends Welfare Society at Sector 123 in Mohali was held today. The assistant media advisor to Government of Punjab, Vineet Joshi conducted ceremony in the presence of the society president Nanki Hans, general secretary Vikram Kanwar and treasurer Gagandeep Arora.
Vineet Joshi lauded the efforts of media persons in organizing themselves for an affordable housing project. He wished the members success in their endeavor, which will have 96 flats being built at a cost of Rs 30 crore. It is spread on 1.66 acres of land and would be completed in 18 months time period. The project is being built by Gahlot and Sons Company and the property builders are Ashwani and Gurinder.
